She-Hulk in The Hulk #1

The Hulk #1Check out The Hulk #1 for lots of She-Hulk goodness. She-Hulk goes to Russia with Iron Man and S.H.I.E.L.D. Which is utterly counter to continuity, both post Civil War and post Peter David, but she's drawn well and behaves in character. That is, she behaves in character to the extent that we know what "in character" means these days.

And speaking of total departure from continuity, you might want to pick up Amazing Spider-Man #546, where former She-Hulk writer Dan Slott completely negates about twenty years of Spider-Man continuity, including his marriage to Mary Jane, his unmasking and everything important that happened in Civil War.

But at least Marvel's not making Peter Parker a bounty hunter.

Actually, you can blame ASM's new status quo on...

...Joe Quesada & J.Michael Strazinski. That was established in One More Day. Dan Slott just picks up the story from there.

Yeah

Didn't mean to suggest it was Slott who did the deed of 'anulling' the marriage, just that he was penning the book and thus is the agent of the continuing controversy. I wonder whose idea it was to bring back Harry Osborne? He got killed in USM only to show up right away in ASM!

(Plus we don't want to provoke Harvey the Rabbit.)

Hulk #1

I just picked up a copy of the new Hulk, and its an interesting read, and have a theory on who the new Hulk might be, but I'm keeping an open idea The She-Hulk is actually drawn better in this book than in the regular one. Too bad they didn't do the same in the regular book.

Drawing

Well, the McGuinness style is very distinctive and I wouldn't hold other creators to it. Shawn Moll doesn't suck at all.

Where She-Hulk gets into trouble, art-wise, is in the colors. The pencils and inks are solid.
